Few years ago, I heard so much about blogging. From a news on TV, on youtube and even in fb too. I look for it’s meaning in the dictionary but I wasn’t able to find one. I searched it in google and there appeared a lot of sites to choose from. First in line was wikipedia, it is where I usually get information whenever I need one for my lesson, assignments in my masters degree subjects and others. Wiki told me that a blog is a type of website or it can be a part of a website.

When I resigned from a private company where I worked for about 8 years and while waiting for the response of my application in the government, I stayed at home with my lappy alone. Do some household chores as routines. Gardening was one of my routines too. I have to check and water my plants every day particularly every afternoon. When I get bored I get my paintbrush and other painting materials and paint. I was able to make few paintings on canvass. Some were sketches in a drawing paper. There were few in a felt paper with oil pastel as the medium. Sometimes, I print tshirts using tulco when someone asks me to. Traveling was also one of the activities I had when I was jobless. We went to Bohol for the second time around then proceed to Camiguin and see beautiful spots around the virgin island. It’s virgin, yes, because all of the areas we’ve been was natural. Mt. Hibok-hibok the hot spring, the soda water pool, the cold spring, the Katibawasan falls, the old church ruins, the under water cemetery and others that I may have forgotten. The trip was indeed great with old and new friends… Everything that I have mentioned can be written in a blog. Interests, travel, entrepreneurial activities and others can be blogged without limit.

What is a blog?

It can be a personal diary or a portfolio. It is a website where there are articles and where we can visit anytime and leave comments if we like. It usually contains text, images, music and videos. Adding text to a blog is super easy, it’s just like typing a word document. Moreover, adding text, music and videos will have the utilization of the upload button. It is easy as 1,2,3… A blog comes in different designs, there are available themes posted by generous experts and giving it for free.

How to make a blog?

Having our own blog is rewarding. You can start with blogger.com. I recommend blogger beacuse I find it comfortable to use when I first venture into the world of blogging. Aside from it is free, it is also user friendly. Or you may also check in the previous post for other free sites where you can create a free website for your blog.

How to earn from blogging?

When I first heard about making money online, I thought it was only hype. When I started earning dollar$ online direct to my paypal account, I already believed that there is real money online. And when I knew of virtual friends earning that much with google, the more I become consistent in upgrading my blog. Posting what I have in mind to my blog.

How to monetize your blog?

Rayman Abiva taught me about it. A friend I met on a certain site where I learned so much about making money online and as well as blogging. If you are using blogger.com simply go to design, at the bottom part of it you’ll see, “Make money from your blog. Publish ads with Google AdSense.” You’ll just have to click it and continue until it’s done. Following instructions plays an important role here.
