What a day!!!! Grrrrrr… Sometimes it’s not easy to be a commuter! And most of the times, it’s hard to be a patient costumer! Anyway, life is still good because there was DYRX while enjoying to accomplish our task. :-) Read the rest of this entry »

Congratulations! Wishing you prosperity! Happy Chinese Dragon New Year everyone! It’s been a while again, busy…busy…busy…but of course still taking time to make fresh post. A New Year Post.

The Dragon

People born in the year of the dragon are strong. They have enough courage to face life’s challenges and get over it.

In China, the dragon is the imperial symbol, the symbol of the emperor.

Dragon’s secret friend is the Rooster. To those who are born in the year of the Dragon, it is nice to sail the year together with a Rooster.

According to gotohorospcope, they are high skilled specialists and have strong opinions on the planning and execution of projects.

Just picking out some characteristics I like. Exactly, I am a dragoonette.

In a year they visit me, bringing discomfort and exhaustion. How I wish they will go as soon as possible and won’t go back anymore I hate ‘em so much….very much!!! Read the rest of this entry »

She loved her family with all her heart…and she made us feel special. She made me feel special. I supposed to visit her this month but now she has a new home, in a place I can’t visit anymore. Bye Lola. :-(

costumer: kuya, hinay lageh kaayo inyong serbisyo kuya ay, ganiha ra kaayo mi (in a soft voice)
guard: ni break paman gud ang usa ana nila day
costumer: sayoha gud niya ni break kuya nga alas 11:30 a.m.  paman
guard: mokaon man gyud na sila day aron kay aron dili mapasmo (medyo bug-at iyang tingog, gigutom sad cguro)
costumer: kami diay kuya dili ba diay mi mapasmo? ganiha ra gud kaayo mi, nya dugay kaayo moirog ang number (holding her temper)
guard: hinay man gud ang signal day
costumer: oh? (murag gikapoy na ug paminaw sa mga rason)
guard: naa may laing branch day! pwede ra mo mobalhin didto!
There was I, beside another girl who was trying to quetch in a nice way…patiently waiting for my turn. But guard’s every answer worsened my headache. I want to get rid of it  so, I silently stood up and placed my number on the counter top and left the place. I went to their second branch(about 2km. away) and there I was able to transact my business with their company. The guard’s opinion was right only then he do not exactly know how to deal with costumers. But anyway, looking at the brighter side of things, I was alone in the second branch, the tellers are good, the room is fully air condition and they have a spacious waiting area.

My college friends and I again had a reunion after how many months. The last time we met was on May 2011 at Basdaku, Moalboal. We planned to see each other on December 2010 but due to time constraint for each has its own task  to accomplish relating to work, that was not pushed through on that month.

A day-before-plan sometimes being realized the most than a long term plan. Last night we had a quick get together, just a dinner date for 3 plus 1. Jane, Ann, and I plus Ann’s child MJ.

We met at Lapu-lapu City particularly at Marina Mall then proceeded to Mactan Tropical Center where Nonki Japanese Restaurant is situated. The attendants warmly welcome us and help us find a comfortable seat.

We decided to be in a traditional low table for it feels nice with  the chopsticks! :-) We were given menu book and after leafing through the volume, we made our orders.

I ordered Tori Karaage, garlic rice and ice tea. And my friends also have given theirs which can be seen in the photo. The recommended menu in the restaurant.

Taken outside Toledo City Tourism Office at the ground floor of Toledo City hall, the new city hall located at Barangay Ilihan, Toledo City. That was a silent Saturday for some employees who were busy working. Read the rest of this entry »
